I am Jessica, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and as of August 24, 2020: a Covid-19 patient and survivor.
This is the story of me: a Covid-19 survivor. I am many things, but currently this is my greatest identity. It limits my interactions with family and friends. The ongoing symptoms are defining my days. Good, sound advice and medical care seem to have disappeared into the ether. I am not a medical professional. Nothing posted here is medical advice. This is a first person account of life since March 2019, focused on life before, during, and after being infected with the novel coronavirus of 2019.
Be safe out there. Much love,
Jessica T. in Chicagoland
